My name is Larissa Vassilian, but I create podcasts under the pseudonym Annik Rubens. I live with my family in Munich, in southern Germany. I started podcasting in 2005. In 2007, I launched Slow German. Slow German is a personal podcast—my hobby. As a podcaster, I’ve won three awards: the International Podcast Award in the “Best Non-English Podcast” category in 2005, the German Podcast Award in 2006, and the European Podcast Award in 2009. Currently, I also host the book podcast “Lies und das” and the science podcast “Exzellent erklärt.”
